The benefits of the vital oils used in Natural Elements products
Vital Oils
Avocado Oil(Persea Americana)An expensive oil rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs). guarding against moisture loss. Full of proteins, minerals, beta carotene and Vitamin E, aids skin regeneration helping to slow the signs of ageing.
Grapeseed Oil
(Vitis vinifera) A light textured oil, containing some vitamins, minerals and proteins, extremely good at keeping the skin supple. Excellent massage properties and good for all complexions.
Jojoba Oil
(Simmondsia chinensis) This oil's structure resembles the skin's own natural oils and is therefore good at moisturising the skin. Contains proteins, and minerals.
Peach Kernel Oil
(Prunus persica)A good source of essentiall fatty acids (EFAs), Vitamin E and traces of minerals. Good for dehydrated and sensitive complexions.
Evening Primrose Oil
(Oenothera biennis) Rich in vitamins and minerals; has a high level of GLA (gamma linolenic acid), which helps to strengthen the skin's supporting collagen fibres. It's also an excellent moisturiser for dry skin
Essential Oils
Geranium Essential oil: calms and relaxes the body and mind. Uplifting and balancing, used by the ancient Egyptians for promoting beautiful, radiant skin.
Jasmine Essential oil:deeply soothing and calming, helping to ease muscle pain.Warming and balancing for dry, greasy and sensitive skin.
Lavender Essential oil: calming, aids relaxation and stress. Its balancing properties can also boost stamina and energy. The French scientist Renee Gattefosse was among the first to discover its soothing and cleansing properties when he was severely burned in a laboratory explosion.
Neroli Essential oil: tones the complexion, reduces wrinkles, balances thread veins, soothes sensitive and mature skin, calms nervous tension and promotes a restful sleep.
Orange Essential oil: uplifting and soothing creating a feeling of happiness and warmth. Eliminates toxins and stimulates the lymphatic system, supporting collagen formation in the skin.
Patchouli Essential oil: reminds people of the hippie era but its value in skincare is immense. Fights depression and anxiety and has diuretic properties, breaking down cellulite while stimulating the regeneration of skin cells, preventing scars forming when wounds heal.
